I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend! This week we will be having a few changes to our original screenings and plans on voting due to the release date of the series we will be watching this quarter not lining up with our general meetings.

[Week 2]:Special Screenings and Game-Night ╰(✧∇✧╰)
This upcoming Thursday, JAC will be hosting our first GAME-NIGHT event. Come enjoy some special screenings and a fun games set up around the the club room. Games will range from popular video games to board and card games. Make new friends over a game of Cards Against Humanity or challenge your fellow members to an intense match in Super Smash Brothers 4!
Special Announcement: We have good news and bad news. The bad news is we won't be having our usual in-club meeting in Kinsey 1240 on Week 4. The good news is we will be hosting another special event, which you can read about under the Week 4 section!
Remember to attend our after-club group dinners! The JAC club meeting may be over, but that does not mean you can't go out with your fellow members and Senpai out for dinner.
Take advantage of the opportunity to grab dinner and talk with you new friends!
[Update] Week 3: Voting for Screening (n˘v˘•)¬
Traditionally, the members of JAC get to vote on the anime we will be watching for the season. Our Screener will show a few shows and you all get a chance to pick what we watch at the end of the screenings!
[Week 4 Special Event] JAC's Pokemon Adventure Kinsey 1240B Court Area Thur. Oct. 20 7:00 PM-9:00 PM ╰(✧∇✧╰)
It's that time of year, Pokemon fans! You've played the game, you've watched the series, and now you can do battle "irl," here on the UCLA campus! Now it's your chance to collect your very own gym badges as you battle the gym leaders by defeating them is a series of challenges and mini-games! Gather your team mates! So what are you waiting for? Because we all know that the real goal in this shonen tournament life: gotta catch 'em all!

[Weeks 2&3] Mentor-Mentee Program (n˘v˘•)¬
Looking for a Senpai to help you navigate the harsh waters of UCLA? Someone to hang out with or simply to have that upperclassman to admire?
Well JAC is the place where you can get yourself a senpai that notices you! Make sure to apply to this program to get the chance to get all the benefits of a mentor who shares many of your interests, especially those in anime!
Get to know your future senpai by attending our fun weekend events led by your trusty senpai. There will be two(2) mentor-mentee events:
Event #1: Santa Monica Trip: Sat. Oct.8 Meet at Bruin Bear at 10am
Event #2: Westwood Dessert Night! Fri. Oct. 14 Time: TBD

FP is an artist group that sprang up, uniting the club's creative talents in hopes of spreading ideas, sharing stories, and making art. Even if you're not very artistically talented or skilled, everyone is welcome to join and just hang out.

Donation Memberships are one of the ways JAC funds all the amazing events and prizes given out during the raffles. By being a donation member you are contributing to JAC and making the club's events possible!

While this isn't a physical stamp card, the idea is the same! Come to the meeting, sign in with one of our officers, and rack up points for every JAC meeting you attend during each quarter!
